Abergavenny Community Centre is a multi-use, multi-purpose space that has different sized rooms available for hire every day of the week. Each space is suitable for different uses including events, workshops, meetings, conferences, parties and clubs.
Our fees vary, according to an ability to pay & frequency of use, basis.
Overview of our pricing, per hour:
Main hall - £15 - £25
Small hall - £10 (Both £25 -£35ph)
Creative rooms - £15
Well-being room - £12
Learning room - £10
Welcome room - £12-£15
Children's Parties Typically, (0-9 yrs) for 2 hrs, starts £50 for basic hire*
A two hour party includes an extra hour ie. half an hour set up & half hour set down
*Catering needs and numbers of guests will affect the price.
Table Tennis: £5 per table, per hour [or min donation £1.50 if more than 4 players
Notes:- The Centre holds a current Music Licence
- The premises is not licensed to sell alcohol
- We may ask for a deposit for some events / activities
Cancellation policy: 7 full working days for events/ buffets.
8 hours notice for all other activities or a Penalty fee: of £12 may be charged
Catering upon request [Gold, Silver, Bronze -for parties of 20+ persons]
Please note that catering & refreshment charges varies according to size of the group & individual requirements per meeting/gathering/event.
Commercial Kitchen £9-£25 per hour (variable upon utility demands & catering requirements) Pls Note that Kitchen hirers must have public liability insurance.

There are two exits/entrances to the building. If you find that one is not open, please use the other.
Our work ethos: We are unable to guarantee exclusive use of any specific space/room. In keeping with the Charity’s ethos, flexibility and sharing space enables a welcome to be offered to users with a variety of needs as well as ensuring the financial stability of the Centre. So we look forward to working with you in a 'give’n take' approach on the rare occasions when it is necessary to ask for changes in timing or room allocation.
